For the longest time, I’ve dreamed of enjoying traditional Persian cuisine and finally my prayers were answered: Irvine Grill in Irvine. I’ve finally found a place that not only satisfies my palate but also completely puts my mind at ease. Before my visit, I confirmed with the manager that there are absolutely no peanuts used in any dish, nor are they present anywhere in the kitchen. This comforting reassurance allowed me to relax and focus entirely on the meal.

I opted for their “Chicken with Bone” entrée, which features a grilled Cornish hen. It came with half saffron rice, half fresh green salad, and a grilled tomato. The chicken itself was the star: tender, juicy, and infused with aromatic spices. Every bite delivered a balanced, savory richness that had me nodding in quiet culinary satisfaction. The meal also came with a piece of warm, pillowy naan bread that took the whole experience to another level.

My brother tried the “Boneless Chicken Combo,” a platter featuring one skewer of succulent boneless chicken kabob and one skewer of seasoned beef koobideh. Both were full of flavor and tenderness, mirroring the high-quality standards I’d discovered in my own dish.

Beyond the incredible food, the atmosphere was welcoming and authentic, and the service attentive and kind. I’ve tried many Persian restaurants, but Irvine Grill stands out for not only its remarkable cooking but its commitment to transparency and safety for those with dietary restrictions. In a world where hidden allergens can derail a dinner out, Irvine Grill offers peace of mind along with exceptional flavor.

If you’re looking for that perfect Persian dining experience, look no further. Irvine Grill has earned a special spot in my heart (and stomach) as my go-to Persian place. I can’t recommend it highly enough—your taste buds will thank you!
