For my 14th birthday, my family and I visited Seasons 52 in Costa Mesa. It is known for its seasonal menu and extensive wine list (52!) and my mom suggested it based on her recent positive dining experience.

To kick off our meal, we shared the Roasted Tomato Flatbread. This dish was a perfect start, with its crispy crust and flavorful toppings. The combination of roasted tomatoes, basil pesto, and melted mozzarella made it light and satisfying.

For my entrée, I indulged in the Filet Mignon (my first time!) and Lobster. The steak was cooked to perfection, tender and juicy, while the lobster added a rich and buttery complement.

My brother opted for the Caramelized Grilled Sea Scallops. The scallops were seared beautifully, boasting a sweet caramelized exterior while remaining tender inside. My parents chose the Grilled Chicken Caprese Sandwich and the Brick Oven Gnocchi. I took a bite of both. The sandwich was a fresh take on a classic, featuring juicy grilled chicken, ripe tomatoes, and creamy mozzarella, all brought together by a flavorful pesto. The Brick Oven Gnocchi was a comforting choice, with pillowy gnocchi served in a rich, savory sauce that left a lasting impression.

The highlight of the evening was the complimentary birthday dessert – a “Flight of Mini Indulgences.” I selected the Belgian Chocolate S’mores, which was decadent. The layers of rich chocolate, marshmallow, and graham cracker crumble created a sophisticated end to a wonderful meal.
